Bertling supports expansion across South Africa
Bertling is proud to support the expansion of South Africa’s transmission infrastructure.
In July 2025, we secured contracts for three 500 MVA transformers from Shanghai, bringing the total of this size to seven units. These were successfully delivered in December 2025, requiring careful planning, heavy-lift operations, and seamless coordination across sea and land transport.
This time, we are entrusted with additional transformers: POL: Vietnam; POD: South Africa; Cargo: Two 75 MVA transformers.
Our scope includes sea freight, port handling, and specialised inland transport, executed in close collaboration with global project teams.
