Bollore Dunkirk welcomes customers from the food industry

On June 26 and 27, the Bolloré Logistics teams from the Dunkirk branch brought together many customers from the food industry.

The objective of this meeting was to present the activities of the site, the current development through a new direct service offered to the Middle East, and to visit the port of Dunkirk, in full expansion.

After a welcome coffee in the premises of the Port Museum of Dunkirk, the customers began the visit of the port by bus. They then benefited from a historical and technical description of the third French port strategically positioned in Europe with easy accesses by road, sea, river, and rail which ensure complete multimodality. Participants were able to see the strong development of the port in the food industry but also in the battery industry (battery valley).

A lunch cocktail, bringing together all the employees of the Dunkirk subsidiary, was organized following the visit, thus encouraging exchanges between the teams and the customers. The afternoon was devoted to a working meeting with customers wishing to strengthen their partnerships and express their expectations in the relationship that binds them to the Bolloré Logistics teams.

“This day allowed us to discuss with our customers from France and Holland in a friendly context. We also welcomed a few prospects from Belgium who are investing in infrastructure close to Dunkirk.” says Alain Hazarosoff, Perishable Market Manager in Europe.

These discussions were punctuated by a visit to the port which has a strategic location in Europe.
