Desalination plant for leading mine in Chile

The Central Oceans teams in Europe, Americas and Asia kicked off the shipments for a new desalination plant for a major Chilean mine engaged in the extraction and production of copper concentrate.

The project will involve the construction of a seawater desalination plant in Chile with a capacity of 1,050 liters per second.
The work will include the execution of maritime works, a pre-treatment system, as well as the development of reverse osmosis and post-treatment technology to guarantee the availability of water resources, the quality of which must be adjusted to the different operating conditions of the mining company.
