LANGARRI launches a new warehouse in Guipúzcoa
Langarri Logística, a Rhenus Logistics company specialising in regional parcel and pallet transport, has inaugurated a new warehouse in the municipality of Elgóibar (Guipúzcoa).
The facility features an area of 2,500 square metres, four docks and five gates for vans.
The new warehouse replaces the logistics centre that the Basque company previously occupied in Mendaro, Guipúzcoa, and will enable it to continue growing and offering the best service to their customers. “Due to its location and facilities, it will enable better coverage and quality of service to its customers as it is an important cross-docking point between Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya,” points out Javier Arrieta, Sales Manager of Langarri Logística.
This is the latest in a series of investments carried out in recent years by Langarri Logística to adapt and expand its logistics facilities. Its aim is to improve the company services and guarantee the satisfaction of its customers. The company currently has six warehouses strategically located in Beasáin, Galdácono, Hernani, Orcoyen, Vitoria and Elgóibar. Altogether, they have a logistics surface area of more than 7,000 square metres, covering Guipúzcoa, Álava, Vizcaya, Navarra, La Rioja, Miranda de Ebro and the southwest of France.
Rhenus Logistics has increased its position in the Basque Country thanks to the purchase of 100 percent of Langarri Logística in 2019. In this regard, the group continues to strengthen its assets in a market it considers strategic, and last April, announced the expansion of its Irún platform, accumulating an area of 12,000 square metres of cross-docking warehouse.
