CEVA establishes operations at major logistics facility in Toledo
CEVA Logistics, a global leader in third-party logistics, is strengthening its strategic positioning in the fashion and apparel sector by establishing operations at a major logistics facility in Toledo, Spain.
Located in the Santa María Benquerencia Industrial Estate, the company’s logistics hub stands as the largest fashion and apparel logistics facility in the region, leveraging its prime connectivity to major distribution routes and proximity to Madrid. Operational under CEVA Logistics since March of this year, the 75,000-square-meter facility stands as a benchmark for next-generation logistics, delivering agile, high-volume processing of over 120 million garments each year.
At the core of the Toledo logistics hub is an advanced automated fulfillment system designed to meet the demands of both physical retail networks (B2B) and rapid eCommerce operations (B2C). Currently, 60 percent of the order picking process is automated. The site features a 10,000-square-meter intelligent storage module with a pallet racking silo capacity exceeding 60,000 pallets, seamlessly managed by Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
To manage the high-volume operations, CEVA continues to invest in local workforce development. The facility serves as an economic engine for the region, employing approximately 400 permanent logistics employees. the site is also capable of scaling during peak periods and seasonal sales campaigns, creating up to 1,000 direct regional jobs.

In line with CEVA’s sustainability commitments, the LEED-certified site features a rooftop solar installation. Once fully operational, the silo-mounted photovoltaic system is projected to generate 500,000 kWh annually for 100% on-site self-consumption. This dedicated clean energy will support in powering the facility’s automated systems and robotics fleet, significantly cutting operational carbon emissions.
