CEVA extends FVL contract with JLR
CEVA Logistics, a global leader in third-party logistics, has announced the extension and expansion of its Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) contract with JLR across France and the Benelux region.
This renewal reinforces a long-standing collaboration with the British luxury vehicle manufacturer while significantly strengthening JLR’s European distribution network.
CEVA will continue to manage JLR’s FVL operations throughout the Benelux and France, expanding its scope to include the direct distribution of 7,000 vehicles annually from the Belgium Port of Zeebrugge. Under the new agreement, CEVA now handles 100% of these volumes—up from one-third previously—bypassing traditional FVL platforms to transport vehicles directly from the port. This expansion establishes CEVA as the carmaker’s exclusive FVL service provider in France, delivering greater operational consistency, enhanced network optimization, and improved service delivery for JLR customers.
Signed for an initial three-year term, the contract builds on a successful partnership spanning more than a decade and extensive logistics services across Europe.
Under the new agreement, CEVA Logistics will oversee the transport and distribution of vehicles manufactured in the UK and Slovakia, with consolidation through key European hubs, including Zeebrugge, Belgium, and Rotterdam, Netherlands, to support efficient onward distribution across major markets.
By expanding CEVA’s responsibilities, JLR will benefit from a highly unified network with streamlined distribution flows, enhanced service consistency and greater operational control. This centralized framework provides the scalable capacity needed to seamlessly support JLR’s growing market demand across Europe.
CEVA has successfully operated FVL services for JLR across the Benelux region since 2015 and in France since 2021.The contract extension reflects strong historical performance and KPI achievement, deep operational integration between JLR and CEVA teams.
A key component of the expanded partnership is the integration of low carbon transport solutions across JLR’s European supply chain. To accelerate progress toward low carbon logistics operations, the contract includes the deployment of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) biofuel alongside CEVA’s advanced mass balance approach. This dual strategy allows JLR to reduce CO₂ emissions while maintaining operational flexibility and network reliability.
The strengthened partnership positions both organizations to address future volume growth, enhance customer delivery experience and accelerate progress toward low carbon logistics operations across Europe.
