ABL has appointed William Leschaeve as Director of P&I and Major Casualty Services, based in New York. <\/strong><\/p>\n

William joins ABL\u2019s expanding maritime team, bringing extensive international experience in casualty response, salvage, wreck removal, cargo damage investigations and expert witness services to support clients across the global maritime sector. <\/p>\n

William has joined ABL following a distinguished career advising P&I clubs, shipowners and legal teams worldwide further strengthening ABL\u2019s ability to support maritime clients facing complex incidents, providing rapid technical advice, risk analysis and dispute resolution support across global shipping markets. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m delighted to join ABL and continue working closely with shipowners, insurers and legal teams responding to some of the sector\u2019s most challenging casualties. ABL\u2019s global reach and strong technical reputation make it an ideal platform to continue delivering practical, independent advice to clients. William\u2019s casualty experience includes leading and advising on salvage and wreck removal operations around the world, acting as company representative and technical advisor during live incidents, and conducting bid evaluations with a focus on technical feasibility and risk management. <\/p>\n

As an expert witness, William specialises in investigations involving total losses and cargo losses and has provided evidence in US courts, UK High Court proceedings and international arbitration cases. <\/p>\n
