Glaube Logistics recently managed the complete movement of a single breakbulk autoclave unit from Jeddah Port to its final site in Oman, coordinating every stage from vessel discharge through to customs and transit formalities, cross-border transit, and specialised low-bed road transport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Glaube Logistics team were on-hand supervising the cargo at every stage. Their full scope of services included:<\/p>\n

Vessel discharge operations at Jeddah Port coordinated with terminal operators, using appropriate lifting arrangements for the autoclave’s dimensions and weight.<\/p>\n

Documentation, duty assessment, and clearance formalities managed with Saudi customs authorities to release the cargo without delay.<\/p>\n

Cross-border transit permits and clearance procedures handled for the overland movement from Saudi Arabia into Oman.<\/p>\n

The autoclave was loaded and secured on a low-bed trailer suited to its profile, with route planning for a safe overland haul to site.<\/p>\n

“From the moment the autoclave left the vessel at Jeddah to the moment it was set down at the site in Oman, our team stayed with the shipment – clearing it through customs, securing transit approval, and supervising the road journey to make sure it arrived exactly as it left.”<\/p>\n

After the autoclave was discharged from the vessel, it was moved to the designated handling area under close supervision to confirm the unit was received free of damage. Import documentation was then processed and customs clearance secured, clearing the way for onward transit preparation.<\/p>\n

The unit was positioned and secured on the low-bed trailer, with lashing and load distribution checked against its weight and centre of gravity.<\/p>\n

On route, transit documentation was presented and cleared at the border, allowing the trailer to proceed into Oman without interruption. Once the autoclave had reached the final destination in Oman, the Glaube Logistics team coordinated the safe offloading and handover.<\/p>\n

An autoclave is a pressure vessel used for industrial sterilisation and curing processes. Typically heavy, rigid, and awkward in profile – it is cargo that calls for careful handling and a trailer configuration built for oversized loads.<\/p>\n
