Huisman has been awarded a contract by COSCO Shipping (Qidong) Offshore Co. Ltd., (COSCO) for the delivery of two Leg Encircling Cranes as well as two Auxiliary Cranes for Cadeler’s next-generation T-Class offshore wind installation vessels.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Featuring an improved load curve, these Leg Encircling Cranes are specifically designed to enhance the vessels\u2019 lifting capabilities and operational flexibility, supporting the installation of increasingly complex offshore wind projects. <\/p>\n

The auxiliary cranes will support a broad range of lifting and handling activities, contributing to safe, efficient and productive offshore operations.<\/p>\n

Manufactured at Huisman’s production facility in Zhangzhou, China, the cranes will be installed onboard Cadeler’s new vessels being built by COSCO in Qidong. The next-generation T-class vessels are designed to support the continued growth of the offshore wind industry, offering the capability and capacity required to install larger foundations and turbines.<\/p>\n
