TALKE USA, Inc. is advancing its sustainability strategy with the addition of two hydrogen-powered Class-8 Freightliner Cascadia tractors to its drayage fleet. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The trucks will be retrofitted by Symbio North America Corporation, utilizing the group\u2019s proprietary fuel cell system and hydrogen-electric powertrain design to meet the performance and safety demands of chemical logistics. <\/p>\n

This collaboration marks a significant step in TALKE USA\u2019s efforts to decarbonize chemical logistics while maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability. The new hydrogen powered trucks are engineered for the rigorous requirements of drayage use, supporting both environmental goals and operational excellence. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis investment reflects our long-term vision for sustainable logistics,\u201d said Alexander Boehm, Chief Operating Officer of TALKE USA, Inc. \u201cBy integrating Symbio\u2019s advanced hydrogen electric systems into our fleet, we\u2019re reducing emissions while actively contributing to the development of a hydrogen ecosystem for heavy transport\u2014laying the groundwork for a scalable, commercially viable and sustainable future in logistics.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new trucks will be tailored for TALKE\u2019s drayage operations, supporting short-haul movements while reducing emissions. This initiative is part of TALKE\u2019s broader ESG program, Crafting Responsible Logistics, which focuses on climate-friendly solutions that meet today\u2019s operational needs while preparing for tomorrow\u2019s challenges.<\/p>\n

The units are expected to be fully operational in 2026, furthering the move towards TALKE USA\u2019s targets for carbon reduction, while maintaining the highest standards of reliability and service.<\/p>\n
