Altius has completed the second phase of the transportation of a 196-ton transformer to the Valle Solar Photovoltaic Plant. <\/strong><\/p>\n

After its arrival by sea from Shanghai to the port of Valencia, the cargo was transported by rail to Almansa and then moved by road in different stages to the substation in Ayora. One of the sections required a night operation with total traffic cut-off due to its technical complexity.<\/p>\n

For installation, a gantry was used to unload the transformer onto a shoring system that allowed it to be accurately positioned on its foundation. Once in place, the operation was completed by crawling.<\/p>\n

This type of logistics project requires a high level of planning and technical coordination.<\/p>\n
