ABL has been appointed by Associated British Ports (ABP) to provide marine auditor services for 21 UK ports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ABL\u2019s scope of work involves auditing ABP\u2019s ports against the requirements of the Ports & Marine Facilities Safety Code (PMSC), which aims to enhance safety for everyone working in or using these facilities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will provide clear, actionable reports that detail findings and recommendations for improvement. Our auditing work will support ABP\u2019s commitment to continuous improvement in marine safety and maximising performance and availability for all of their 21 ports,\u201d says Daniel Wood, ABL\u2019s director of ports and harbour services.<\/p>\n

The audit programme will be conducted over the next three years, commencing in Southampton in July 2025.<\/p>\n

A team of ABL\u2019s specialist ports and harbours consultants from across the UK will perform the audits.<\/p>\n

ABL also delivers marine auditing services to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations such as MARPOL and SOLAS as well as local marine regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur auditors are proficient in industry-standard audits, and are qualified to conduct safety, security, and environmental audits across the maritime sector. This project will strengthen and highlight our commitment to the safe and compliant running of ports both nationally and internationally,\u201d adds Daniel Wood.<\/p>\n
