dship appoints project charter managers in Shanghai

HAMBURG: September 10, 2019. dship Carriers, part of the deugro group, has appointed Alex Wang and Garon Jiang Chartering managers based in Shanghai.

“China is still considered to be the world’s fastest-growing economy. With Alex and Garon on board, we can now offer our services directly to our Chinese clients. We are looking forward to a successful collaboration,” commented Lars Feller, Global vice president of dship Carriers.

The company manages and owns a fleet of multi-purpose vessels to support breakbulk, heavy lift, dry bulk and project cargo customers in the oil and gas, wind energy and floating cargo sectors. dship has offices in Hamburg, Houston, Tokyo, Mumbai, Singapore and Shanghai.

Last month deugro appointed Richard Juergens vice president Projects North America with responsibility for project development in the oil and gas, power generation and infrastructure sectors.

Prior to his current appointment, Juergens was deugro’s Projects manager in Oman with responsibility for the Liwa Plastics Industries Complex where deugro shipped one million tons of equipment from multiple global origins into Sohar and Duqm, Oman.

He will leverage his vast project experience from major capital projects handled by deugro to help strengthen our project management capacity and market position within North America,” explained Tobias Schultz, deugro group EVP.
