BUDAPEST: May 2019. Budapest Airport has signed a cooperative agreement with the Henan Civil Aviation Company (HNCA) to develop air cargo traffic in the context of China’s ‘Belt & Road’ Initiative.
Cargolux is currently operating a B747 freighter twice a week between Budapest and Zhengzhou.
The agreement for future development, cooperation and exchange of information was signed in the presence of the state secretary Tamás Menczer, from the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and deputy secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Committee of Henan Province Yu Hongqiu.
