Polaris handles Mercedes-Benz shipment
Polaris Shipping Agencies received an interesting order to handle shipments of Mercedes Benz trucks arriving from Kuwait by road for onward shipping to Europe.
Rajesh Damodaran at Polaris explains; “As UAE sea ports are ideally located to handle any transhipment cargo with a choice of several breakbulk, RORO and container options, Polaris are fully geared to handle transhipment cargo from or to any GCC states. Our services includes positioning of suitable trucks at any GCC locations and lodging of necessary transit deposits at respective border points with related customs documentations to ensure that transit cargo is connected to the carrying vessels or final destination with no delays.”
The first lot of the project consisting of six trucks have been delivered at Port Jebel Ali and connected with the vessel to sail to Port Antwerp as scheduled with several more lots to follow.
