Gruber Logistics completes start-up phase in Turkey

Gruber Logistics has completed the start-up phase in Turkey, reorganizing its activities to better leverage its position in the connections between Europe and Asia.

The start-up phase included conducting adequate research to understand the local market dynamics, including demand, competition, and the regulatory environment. The Turkish logistics sector is experiencing rapid growth, supported by significant infrastructure investments. This growth presents both opportunities and challenges that new operators must address. This led to the creation of a new local team with two locations in Istanbul and Izmir. The completion of the first phase of Gruber Logistics’ project in the country also corresponds to an expansion of services, a necessary step to coordinate the growing range of activities managed in the country.

Marcello Corazzola, Managing Director of Gruber Logistics, explains the company’s systemic approach, aware of the great importance of the emerging Turkish market and its centrality as a cultural and economic network: “Our goal is to strengthen our presence in the country, starting with the appointment of a new Branch Manager in Turkey, Rifat Cicek, who will be responsible for market development and team expansion. Our main hub for international connection with Turkey is Trieste, where we can rely on an established team; additionally, for LTL services, and soon also for groupage, we can count on a new hub located in Verona, which ensures daily international shipments throughout Europe. Such a systemic approach is necessary to meet all the needs of the B2B supply chain and to ensure comprehensive service coverage connecting Turkey with all of Europe.”
